Description
As an Energy Optimization Specialist, you are responsible for deploying and further developing smart solutions that provide insight into and reduce energy consumption. You configure data, systems, and processes so that buildings function structurally more efficiently, and guide organizations from initial implementation to continuous optimization.
Job requirements
- Completed higher professional or university education, for example in a technical, energy, business administration or facilities management field.
- Affinity with energy issues, data and smart technology.
- Ability to analyze performance and translate it into concrete energy-saving measures.
- Independent, proactive way of working.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to convey complex information in an understandable way.
- Curiosity and a solution-oriented mindset.
Tasks
- Guiding projects from start to go-live and ensuring that smart systems are configured correctly for maximum return.
- Analyzing data from buildings and installations, recognizing deviations and identifying opportunities for structural energy savings.
- Coordinating the deployment of hardware and data connections with external parties and ensuring the quality of supplied data.
- Support the deployment and refinement of data-driven and automated solutions that continuously improve energy consumption.
- Identifying opportunities for improvement, from comfort complaints to inefficient processes, and translating these signals into concrete actions that lead to lower energy costs.
- Contribute to innovation by brainstorming new applications and optimizations and translating these into practical solutions.
- Ensuring quality and agreements by monitoring performance, progress, and agreements made, and making adjustments where necessary.
