Technician responsible for installing mechanical systems in utility projects.
Minimum MBO-3, driving license B, and proficiency in Dutch required.
Work is carried out on new construction, renovation, and maintenance in Friesland and the Northern Netherlands.
Description
Work within the non-residential construction sector on new construction, conversion, and renovation of large utility projects for business clients in Friesland and the Northern Netherlands. You will be part of the project department and work at various locations within the region.
Job requirements
- Minimum completed MBO level 3 in a relevant field.
- Several years of relevant work experience is desirable; recent graduates and entry-level/apprentice mechanics may also apply.
- In possession of driving license B.
- Mastery of the Dutch language.
- Able to work independently, proactively and customer-oriented.
- Competencies: flexible, reliable and positive attitude.
Tasks
- Installation and assembly of complete mechanical installations (heating, cooling, ventilation, water and sanitary facilities), including piping, fittings and technical facilities.
- Working on new construction, renovation, and large-scale remodeling of industrial halls, offices, healthcare facilities, and schools.
- Collaborate with fellow installers, subcontractors, and project management to deliver installations safely and on schedule.
- Ensure that the work is carried out neatly and professionally.
- Carrying out work on both large, multi-day projects and varying project phases.
- Supporting installation work in combination with vocational training and work for private clients in Friesland.
- Troubleshooting and performing maintenance for business customers (central heating boilers, heat pumps, air conditioning systems, ventilation systems).

The company is growing steadily and has approximately 90–100 employees, working from branches in Harlingen and Drachten. Teams consist of mechanics, work planners, drafters, engineers, planners, consultants, and project leaders, among others.
Projects range from the installation and maintenance of heat pumps, central heating boilers, and solar panels to complete installation work for new construction projects and large-scale maintenance, such as solar parks.
