Description
As a junior mechanical engineer, you will work within the Industry business unit on the entire consultancy and development process for new build and replacement projects in sectors such as gas, new energy, chemicals, food, and pharmaceuticals. You will contribute to sustainable and innovative projects such as the valorization of waste streams and green hydrogen plants, and work in multidisciplinary teams on future-proof solutions.
Job requirements
- Completed higher professional or university degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a similar field.
- Strong communication skills in Dutch.
- Affinity with design and 3D modeling.
- Ambition and drive to develop further.
- An eye for innovation, commercial opportunities and sustainability.
Tasks
- Collaborating with colleagues from various disciplines on industrial projects.
- Designing factories and installations and modeling in 3D.
- Performing calculations and substantiating technical choices.
- Translating laws and regulations and client-specific requirements into a safe and efficient design.
- Consult with senior engineers, other disciplines, and regularly with the client.
- Work under the guidance of a senior colleague to grow quickly in the role.
