Service engineer
This position performs maintenance and troubleshooting around the meter cabinet at households in the region.
Required are a technical MBO-2 diploma, VOP LS Meterkast, VOP G Meters, and a B driving license.
You work independently from home and drive a company van to various locations.
Description
In this role, you will depart directly from home to various work locations in the region and perform work at households related to meter cabinets. The work is varied: for example, replacing meter cabinets in city centers and resolving faults in residential areas. You will work independently from a company van and carry out tasks according to instructions from the supervisor or planner.
Job requirements
- Technical diploma at MBO level 2 or higher, preferably in electrical engineering.
- Instruction VOP LS Meter cupboard.
- Instruction VOP G Meters.
- Good command of the Dutch language.
- In possession of driving license B.
- Residing in the Drenthe region due to the local nature of the position.
- Working safely is a guiding principle; you seek technical solutions and communicate clearly with colleagues and customers.
Tasks
- Perform maintenance work around the meter cupboard.
- Troubleshooting (smart) meters.
- Always work in a safe and responsible manner.
Working conditions
- Own company van with materials.
- Reimbursement of €80 per month for lunch to go.
- Contribution of 70% to the ABP Choice Pension.
- Personal budget of 10% and a 13th month of 10,7% of the gross annual salary, flexible in use.
- 24,5 vacation days for full-time employment; additional vacation days are available through a personal budget and 13th-month salary.

Description of the organization
You will work within a meter cabinet team that is part of the realization department. The team consists of fitters, supervisors, technicians, and specialists, and has a collegial, helpful atmosphere. There is room to learn the trade, and you are not alone; colleagues help each other complete work safely and efficiently.
Continuous professional competence is ensured through training and educational opportunities offered at the internal training center in Hoogeveen. If desired, you can shadow for half a day to get a better impression of the work and the work environment.
