Description
As a trainee gas fitter, you will complete a recognized MBO level 3 training program and work in the region on inspection, maintenance, and breakdown services within the gas network.
Job requirements
- Motivation to pursue a level 3 vocational education (MBO) qualification and associated safety training; completed training is a plus.
- Good command of the Dutch language.
- Driving License B.
- Residing in the Drenthe or South Groningen region (due to on-call duties).
Tasks
- Completion of a recognized MBO level 3 training program to become a gas fitter, including theory and practical lessons at a vocational school and practical field experience.
- Work under the guidance of an experienced buddy who assists with all common tasks.
- Performing inspection and maintenance work, resolving malfunctions, and carrying out network improvements.
- Renovating gas pipelines, detecting gas leaks, and resolving malfunctions in the gas network.
- Working in accordance with safety regulations on gas installations with pressures between 30 mBar and 8 Bar and preventing unsafe situations.
- Develop into an independent on-call breakdown technician and specialize in various technician tasks.
- Clearly inform colleagues and customers and seek technical solutions.
- Working at various locations within the Drenthe and South Groningen region, including on-call duties.
