You collaborate with grid operators, contractors, and government authorities on social energy projects.
Description
As Energy Transition Design Leader, you are the technical point of contact within projects and manage design teams. You ensure that designs are technically robust, feasible, and future-proof, and take the lead in substantiated design choices.
Job requirements
- Higher professional education (HBO) working and thinking level with at least a completed secondary vocational education (MBO) in a technical field (e.g., civil engineering, energy technology, infrastructure technology, or similar).
- 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience, for example as an engineer, designer, or design manager.
- Excellent command of the Dutch language, both spoken and written.
- Demonstrable work experience in the field of cables and pipelines, directional drilling, or experience in the energy sector is an advantage.
Tasks
- Advising clients on the technical feasibility of energy projects.
- Ensuring design quality throughout all design phases (SO, VO, DO, and UO) and testing designs against technical requirements and guidelines.
- Managing designers and drafters and acting as the technical point of contact for the project team.
- Leading substantiated design choices and ensuring integrated coordination between civil, electrical, and environmental aspects.
- Collaborating with grid operators, contractors, and government agencies and ensuring that designs comply with laws and regulations, standards, and permit requirements.
