Electrical Engineering Executive
The Electrical Engineering Supervisor leads maintenance, replacement, and fault handling on the electricity grid.
Requires a minimum of MBO-3 or MBO-4 in Electrical Engineering and knowledge of BEI-BLS/BEI-BHS.
Works on projects for the energy transition in the Northern Netherlands.
Description
As an Electrical Engineering Supervisor, you contribute to energy transition projects in the Northern Netherlands. You act as the link between the organization, technicians, and municipalities, ensuring that work is carried out safely, to a high standard, and according to schedule. You work on troubleshooting as well as the replacement, renovation, and maintenance of installations so that the network can be operated remotely.
Job requirements
- Minimum MBO-3 with relevant practical experience (listed as scale 11) or MBO-4 diploma in electrical engineering (listed as scale 12).
- Some experience and a clear interest in energy technology.
- Knowledge of BEI-BLS and BEI-BHS.
- Steadfast focus on safety and the motto: "We work safely, or we don't work at all."
- Skill in finding technical solutions and clearly informing colleagues and customers.
- Experience or aptitude for coaching and managing team members.
Tasks
- Leading the replacement, renovation and maintenance of the electricity network.
- Coordinating and aligning activities between technicians, mechanics, and subcontractors.
- Ensuring that all work is carried out safely and in accordance with agreements, and is delivered on time.
- Coaching teams of technicians and mechanics and providing support where necessary.
- Resolving minor and major malfunctions and participating in on-call services when you are fully authorized and deployable independently.
- Devising and proposing improvements for future implementation methods and indicating the necessary resources and personnel in a timely manner.
