Description
As a Junior Energy Transition Advisor, you will work within the Energy Transition portfolio on social issues surrounding the inclusive energy transition.
You operate at the intersection of policy and implementation, translating complex regulations into practical solutions for residents and local initiatives.
Job requirements
Required:
- Higher professional education (HBO) working and thinking level with a degree in sustainability, environmental science, or social geography.
- Demonstrable affinity with the energy transition and with social issues within the inclusive energy transition.
- Demonstrable examples showing that you can switch between policy and implementation and translate processes into practice.
- Demonstrable experience in writing council proposals.
- Demonstrable basic knowledge of subsidy schemes (for ISDE and/or NIP).
- Willingness to sign the Client's integrity declaration after the award and to submit it before the start of the assignment.
- Submission of a valid Certificate of Conduct for risk areas 1, 4, and 8 (8 only for positions in the Social Domain); the Certificate of Conduct must be submitted prior to the start of employment.
Desired:
- Residing in the region, maximum distance of 35 km.
- Specific training, traineeship, or education in the field of energy transition.
- Demonstrable experience with data management and processing.
- Good communication skills and the ability to convey complex information in an understandable way to residents and initiators.
Tasks

Working conditions
Contract and scope of work:
- Scope: 24 hours per week.
- Duration: 01-06-2026 to 31-12-2026, with option to extend.
Place and position in the organization:
- Location: Sneek.
- This is not an assignment for a freelancer; the position is embedded in the organization and managed hierarchically.
- A loan-through arrangement is not an option.
