Required: technical higher professional education or technical associate degree and extensive experience in electrical engineering.
Description
In this role, you act as a link between policymakers and implementers and contribute to the safe operation of distribution networks in the Northern Netherlands. You take the lead in structuring your work week, collaborate with various stakeholders, and increase the impact of Network Performance Management on the technical performance of the network.
Job requirements
- Technical higher professional education, preferably Electrical Engineering or Energy Technology; a technical Associate Degree may also suffice.
- Knowledge of grid configurations and grid installations/components.
- Extensive experience in electrical engineering and independently solving technically complex problems in energy networks and installations.
- Knowledge and/or experience with process and project management and with HSE legislation, guidelines, and procedures is an advantage.
- Strong skills in problem analysis and quality-oriented work.
- Ability to make decisions and persuasiveness when giving advice and presentations.
- Good communication skills to switch smoothly between the shop floor and management, with an eye for safety and quality.
Tasks
- Jointly responsible for the safe operation of electricity supply systems in the Northern Netherlands.
- Collaborating with fellow OIVs and IVs to ensure maintenance and fault handling proceed efficiently and safely.
- Advising Asset Management on maintenance and replacement guidelines.
- Providing substantive input on the tendering and implementation of business and network components.
- Involved in commissioning and management of networks.
- Acting as a technical fault manager during emergencies and maintaining contact with external partners, such as the fire department and municipalities.
- Drafting and disseminating technical instructions and thereby ensuring safe and uniform working practices.
- Assignment of HS/MS stations in consultation with fellow Transport Officers, taking place of residence into account as much as possible.
