Electrical Contractor

You ensure that the expansion, reinforcement, and maintenance of the electricity grid are carried out safely and on schedule in the Groningen region (Winschoten and Groningen). You work closely with work planners, other site managers, and engineers, and are regularly on-site to supervise the work.

• MBO-4 diploma in Electrical Engineering.
• Several years of supervisory experience in the technical field, for example as a lead mechanic or site supervisor.
• Willingness to follow all necessary training and courses to become a fully-fledged executor.
• Strong safety mentality; you live by the motto "We work safely, or we don't work at all" and hold others accountable.
• Technically solution-oriented and able to switch gears quickly in the event of malfunctions.
• Clear communication skills towards clients, both corporate and private.
• Coaching skills to help colleagues grow in craftsmanship and safety.

• Managing activities related to maintenance, breakdowns, inspections, and replacement projects.
• Monitoring compliance with work processes, rules, and safety regulations.
• Preparing projects together with work planners, other site managers, and engineers.
• Supervising work on location and monitoring the execution.
• Performing switching operations.
• Writing work plans and framework agreements.
• Assist in the execution of the Annual Order Book.
• Supervision of activities from preparation to completion.
• Coaching colleagues on safe and high-quality work.
• Performing on-call duties for breakdowns, approximately once every 5 to 6 weeks.
