Description

As a Lead Operator, you coordinate the operation within the team and ensure a stable and safe production process at a large-scale chemical site in Delfzijl.

Job requirements

  • Completed VAPRO B, AOT or MTS Process Engineering
  • Preferably experience within the chemical industry
  • Shows leadership within the team
  • Remains calm and decisive under pressure
  • Thinking ahead and seeing opportunities for improvement
  • Excellent command of Dutch and good command of English

Tasks

  • Starting and stopping units and installations
  • Blocking in and out and securing installation parts
  • Performing inspection rounds and adjusting installations
  • Coordinating activities within the team
  • Analyzing and optimizing process flows
  • Performing failure analyses and structurally resolving bottlenecks
  • Collaborate closely with the control room, maintenance, and production
  • Report to the Production Lead
