Description

In this field service position, you will work independently at customer sites in Central and Southern the Netherlands on high-tech installations and machines. You will travel to customers in a service van for installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting. You ensure that installations keep running, from commissioning to preventive maintenance and fault resolution.

Job requirements

  • MBO education.
  • Knowledge and experience with hydraulics and/or mechanics/mechanical engineering.
  • Knowledge of electrical engineering and control engineering, or willingness to acquire this through training.
  • Proficiency in reading and understanding technical drawings.
  • Flexibility in working hours and willingness to travel.
  • Good command of Dutch and English.
  • Proficiency in German and/or French is an advantage.
  • Experience with electric and/or inert gas welding is a plus.
  • Willingness to perform on-call duties.

Tasks

  • Detecting and resolving traces of malfunctions (electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic).
  • Installing and commissioning machines at customer sites.
  • Perform preventive maintenance to prevent problems.
  • Thinking solution-oriented on the spot and acting immediately.
  • Instruct customers on the use and maintenance of the installations.
  • Serve as the point of contact and calling map of the organization.

Working conditions

  • Directly employed by the client.
  • Fully equipped company service van.
  • Part-time or full-time possible.
  • Also deployment on the weekend once every six weeks.
