High-voltage specialist responsible for the factory's electricity supply and ultimately responsible for the testing and commissioning of high-voltage installations.
Job requirements
- Higher professional education (HBO) working and thinking level, obtained through an electrical engineering education or demonstrable relevant work experience.
- At least five years of experience with high-voltage installations within an industrial production environment.
- VCA-VOL, STIPEL IV/WV HS-LS and knowledge of standards.
- Work independently and accurately, with initiative and a sense of responsibility for continuity and safety.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills and a team player.
Tasks
- As the Installation Manager, take the lead in testing and commissioning high-voltage installations and control systems.
- Programming of protection relays and switching of installations.
- Managing, optimizing, and developing power supply systems and energy supply components.
- Analyzing and resolving malfunctions (troubleshooting).
- Drafting technical designs, specifications, and project proposals including budget.
- Guiding supplier selection and procurement processes.
- Leading sub-projects within the energy supply.
- Testing, inspecting, and delivering installations according to high safety and quality standards.
- Drafting switching plans with an emphasis on safety in accordance with NEN 3140 / NEN 3840.
- Ensuring inspections, certifications, and legal compliance.
- Managing technicians and monitoring quality, planning, and safety.
- Providing knowledge transfer and instructions.
