Service & Commissioning Engineer
Engineer for service and commissioning of biogas plants worldwide. Tasks: commissioning, testing, fault analysis, reporting, and customer contact. Requirement: completed higher professional education (HBO) or secondary vocational education (MBO+) in a technical field.
Description
You work from the branch in Friesland on innovative biogas solutions and travel worldwide to commission and optimize installations. You operate in small teams with short lines of communication and have direct contact with customers, with a great deal of freedom to independently solve problems methodically.
Job requirements
- Completed technical higher professional or intermediate vocational education (MBO+) in Chemical Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or similar.
- Knowledge of NEN 3140, the Machinery Directive and PED is an advantage.
- Broad technical knowledge and a solution-oriented, independent attitude.
- Good command of Dutch and English.
- Affinity with environmental technology and sustainable energy.
Tasks
- Commissioning of biogas installations and performing functional tests.
- Analyzing technical faults and solving them on-site.
- Reporting findings and advising on design and operational improvements.
- Maintain contact with customers and suppliers for technical questions and solutions.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and ISO procedures.
- Assist in the development of service contracts and advise on preventive maintenance.
- Independently solving complex problems in small teams with short lines of communication.
- Traveling to customers worldwide to optimize and commission installations.
Working conditions
- 8,33% holiday pay.
- €0,23 net travel allowance per kilometer for commuting.
