Groundwater Supervisor
Groundwater, WKO and GBES Supervisor responsible for the supervision of groundwater and geothermal energy.
Conducts field inspections and assesses annual statements and monitoring reports for the protection of soil and groundwater.
Required higher professional education level, at least one year of relevant experience, and a B driver's license.

As a supervisor of groundwater, WKO, and GBES, you monitor the quality of groundwater and geothermal energy systems and contribute to a sustainable living environment.
Job requirements
- HBO working and thinking level.
- At least 1 year of demonstrable experience with groundwater, geothermal energy (WKO and/or GBES) or water legislation.
- Thorough knowledge of the Environment and Planning Act and the Decree on Activities in the Living Environment (BAL).
- Experience with conducting field inspections and the associated administrative processing.
- Capable of conducting independent supervision and making well-considered decisions.
- In possession of driving license B.
- Personal qualities: proactive, decisive, technically proficient, pragmatic, solution-oriented, and political sensitivity.
- Skill in building effective relationships with diverse stakeholders.
Tasks
- Conducting physical inspections of groundwater extractions and geothermal energy systems (WKO/GBES).
- Assessing annual statements, registrations, and monitoring reports.
- Assessing compliance with permits, notifications, and general rules (Environmental Planning Act / BAL).
- Identifying and recording violations and drawing up inspection reports.
- Handling reports, complaints, and inquiries from citizens and businesses.
- Advising on improvement measures and contributing to the further development of supervision.
- Coordinating with legal experts and colleagues during enforcement proceedings.
- Assessing groundwater quality and hydrological data, including energy balance and well sealing in WKO systems.
- Checking installation quality and leak tightness of GBES systems to minimize risks to soil and groundwater.
Working conditions
Location: Grou (hybrid). Contract type: secondment. Temporary assignment at a client with the security of permanent employment.
