Description
Electrical & Instrumentation Fault Technician (EMRA Technician) at the Wijster location. You ensure the continuous and safe functioning of installations through preventive and corrective maintenance and the resolution of electrical faults.
Job requirements
- Completed technical education at MBO level 4 (Electrical Engineering).
- In possession of a VCA diploma, or willing to obtain one.
- In possession of or willing to obtain: NEN3140 certificate.
- Demonstrable experience as an independent breakdown mechanic.
- Proactive go-getter and team player who easily connects with colleagues.
- Working accurately, taking initiative, and a sense of responsibility for a meticulous end result.
- Drive to identify improvements, take them up, and fully implement them.
Tasks
- Locating and resolving faults within the electrical part of industrial installations.
- Perform inspections and maintenance on electrical, measurement and control, and PLC installations.
- Monitoring, executing, and following up on the preventive maintenance plan within the SAP system.
- Preventive and corrective maintenance of the installation together with the team, so that quality, usability, and lifespan are preserved.
- Perform technical tasks independently and prepare and coordinate assignments together with colleagues.

Description of the organization
At 18 locations in the Netherlands, Attero works with approximately 800 colleagues to convert waste into valuable raw materials and energy. At Organic Wijster, we process organic waste on a large scale into high-quality compost and produce green gas. The Organic Technical Service department focuses on resolving (complex) malfunctions and optimizing maintenance. You will work in a team of young technicians and experienced experts and can rely on specialists from central Attero departments for support with complex technical challenges.
