Description
As an Assistant Civil Engineering Site Manager, you support the Site Manager and Project Leader in the preparation, coordination, and execution of civil and environmental projects. You act as a liaison between the site management, client, and subcontractors, and contribute to the smooth running of projects in the fields of soil protection, soil remediation, and civil infrastructure.
Job requirements
- MBO or HBO education in Civil Engineering, Infrastructure, Environment or similar
- Affinity with civil engineering, infrastructure, or environmental projects
- Works independently and likes to take initiative
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong organizational skills and maintains an overview of multiple tasks simultaneously
- Enjoys working together and is open to ideas from colleagues and clients
- In possession of driving license B
Tasks
- Assisting with the planning and organization of projects
- Monitoring quality, progress, and safety at project sites
- Managing and supervising subcontractors and suppliers
- Managing project administration and reporting
- Maintaining contact with clients and other involved parties
- Ordering materials and equipment for the execution
- If necessary, assist on location and provide support with execution of tasks.
