Description
Senior Mechanical Engineering Project Manager playing a central role in complex sustainability projects. You are responsible for the entire project cycle of mechanical installations, from design to delivery, and translate sustainability ambitions into technically feasible solutions. You work closely with consultants, installers, and clients and act as the technical point of contact for stakeholders.
Job requirements
- Completed higher professional or university degree in Mechanical Engineering or Installation Technology.
- At least three to five years of experience as a project manager in the installation industry.
- Knowledge of modern installation techniques such as heat pumps, geothermal energy, and HVAC systems.
- Experience with sustainability projects is a plus.
- Excellent command of the Dutch language, both spoken and written.
- Strong communication skills; proactive and results-oriented, with a good overview during busy periods.
Tasks
- Leading and managing mechanical engineering projects from design to delivery.
- Coordinating multidisciplinary project teams and external parties.
- Monitoring planning, budget, and quality throughout the entire project.
- Act as the technical point of contact for clients and stakeholders.
- Drafting project plans, risk analyses, and progress reports.
- Testing designs and technical specifications for feasibility and quality.
- Supervise the execution and perform quality checks.
- Supervising the commissioning and delivery of installations.
