Description
In this role, you will be responsible for conducting environmental inspections and enforcing environmental laws and regulations. You will work closely with other supervisors and advisors within the organisation and contribute to environmental policy within the Groningen region.
Job requirements
- Minimum higher professional education (HBO) work and thinking level and a relevant education in environmental science, process or chemical technology or a comparable field.
- Knowledge of the Environmental Activities Decree (Bal) and the Environmental Act.
- Extensive relevant work experience in the environmental field.
- You enjoy working in a team and are focused on a sustainable, future-proof living environment.
Tasks
- Carrying out environmental inspections at companies and institutions.
- Advising companies on environmental legislation and its implementation.
- Drafting reports and enforcement decisions.
- Taking action when violations occur and taking measures to rectify them.
- Contribute to the development of environmental policy within the Groningen region.
- Collaborate with other supervisors and advisors within the organisation.
