Description
You work on the financial and strategic sides of projects, from initial idea to closing and often beyond. You contribute to proposals, drafting quotations, and the further professionalization of the firm.
Tasks
- Structures and realizes financing for energy production, storage systems, heat networks, and the sustainability of industry.
- Develops and tests financial models and business cases; modeling and validation.
- Advises on contract and deal structures and drafts memos and business cases.
- Negotiates with investors, banks, developers, and public parties; presents and negotiates on behalf of clients.
- Leads projects, manages smaller teams, and mentors junior and mid-level colleagues.
- Builds relationships, initiates new assignments, and often remains involved with clients after closing.
- Provides process and project management and has extensive client contact (in-person and online).
- Develops proposals and drafts proposals, thereby contributing to the professionalization of the firm.

Description of the organization
The firm is a fast-growing, specialist consultancy with approximately 15 consultants in Heerenveen. We combine substantive depth with a pragmatic approach and work for clients throughout the Netherlands. You will work in small teams of senior and junior consultants with a lot of responsibility and short lines of communication. We work without a rigid hierarchy; content and collaboration come first, and everyone contributes to projects. The team is committed to both the work and the impact we make in the energy transition.
