Project manager
Junior Project Manager for Realization Management of Civil and Landscaping Projects.
You manage projects from initiation to completion, including permits and execution.
Required: completed HBO/WO degree in civil engineering or equivalent and fluent Dutch.
Description
Entry-level Realization Management Project Manager, working from the Groningen, Leeuwarden, or Arnhem office.
You work within the Realization Management Team on realizing plans from initiation to completion within civil and land development projects.
Job requirements
- Completed higher vocational or university education in Civil Engineering, Land and Water Management, Construction Engineering or similar.
- Affinity with execution.
- Proactive attitude, good communication skills and eagerness to learn.
- Fluent command of the Dutch language, both spoken and written.
Tasks
- Working on projects that vary greatly in nature and scale, creating a lot of variety and challenge.
- Applying substantive knowledge to devise and implement creative and appropriate solutions together with colleagues.
- Supervising necessary investigations and advising the client on the solution or design.
- Organizing necessary permits and contract overruns, and remaining involved during execution up to completion and sometimes the management phase.
- Contribute to progressive projects with sustainable and innovative solutions, such as circularity and fish ladders.
- Assembling the project team and taking on internal project management, with growth towards full project responsibility.
- Shared responsibility for one or more clients, supporting quotation processes, and eventually acquiring projects independently.
- Work under the guidance of experienced colleagues to grow both in terms of content and process.
