Environmental Advisor
Advising and assisting with environmental permits and notifications in the Drenthe region.
Requires at least a higher professional education (HBO) degree and knowledge of the Environmental Activities Decree (Bal).
Contributing to a healthy and sustainable living environment, together with permitting and supervision.

Work in the Drenthe region, focusing on assessing and supervising environmental permits and notifications. You'll contribute to a healthy and safe living environment, collaborating with professional groups for permitting, supervision, and enforcement. Your work area may include cities like Assen and Emmen.
Job requirements
- Minimum HBO working and thinking level with a relevant education in environmental science, process or chemical technology or a comparable field.
- Knowledge of the Environmental Activities Decree (Bal) and the Environmental Act.
- Extensive relevant work experience in the environmental field.
- Experience in writing reports and advice.
- Pragmatic, results- and solution-oriented approach; proactive.
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written, and the ability to convey complex material clearly.
- Good social and administrative antenna, flexible, team-oriented and focused on connecting solutions.
Tasks
- Assessing and supervising environmental permits and notifications.
- Ensuring that companies comply with laws and regulations regarding noise, odor, ecology, external safety, light, air quality, sustainability, and energy.
- Consult with clients, companies and external advisors.
- Advising on complex (multiple) environmental permit applications in various sectors.
- Advising on developments and bottlenecks at companies requiring permits.
- Participate in multidisciplinary projects within the field.
