Electrical Technician

As an On-Call Electrical Technician (SWD), you contribute to keeping the regional energy grid reliable. You work at various locations in your region and are at the heart of the energy transition. The role is dynamic and varied, involving both regular maintenance and breakdown work.

Required education, experience and skills:

• Electrical engineering diploma at MBO level 3 or higher.
• Preferably a VP designation from the BEI.
• Good command of the Dutch language.
• Driving License B.
• Residence in or easily accessible from Groningen due to breakdown services.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Depart directly from home to the first work location, according to the schedule of the site manager or planner.
• Performing maintenance work on electrical installations.
• Detecting and resolving faults together with colleagues.
• Participate in breakdown services (on-call and breakdown services).
• Replacing distribution cabinets and converting substations, possibly for several days or weeks.
• Working in a safe and responsible manner and seeking technical solutions.
• Inform colleagues and customers about work and solutions in clear language.

Offer and employment conditions (selection):

• Personal budget of 10% and a 13th month of 10,7% of the gross annual salary, flexible in use or payable.
• 24,5 vacation days for full-time employment; possibility to purchase up to a maximum of 35,5 additional leave days with a personal budget and 13th month salary.
• Contribution of 70% to the ABP Choice Pension.
• Compensation of €455 gross per full week of breakdown service.
• Own company van equipped with necessary materials.
• Laptop or tablet and phone that you may also use privately; setting up a home office is possible.
• Reimbursement of €80 per month for coffee or lunch to go.
• Vitality budget of €700 for a gym membership, for example.
• Room to grow through development tracks and training.
• During the first year of your child's life, 70% of your daily wage for nine weeks as compensation.
