Requirements: completed vocational training and knowledge of mechanical systems; work at an innovative recycling plant.
Description
As a WTB Technician, you work during the day and are responsible for the maintenance, repair, and optimization of recycling and production equipment.
Job requirements
- Completed technical vocational training, for example in Mechanical Engineering or a similar field.
- Knowledge of mechanical systems and the ability to read technical drawings and diagrams.
- Several years of experience in a similar position within chemical production is an advantage.
- Team player with problem-solving skills and good communication skills.
- Safety-conscious, practical and willing to develop yourself and learn new technical skills.
Tasks
- Performing preventive maintenance on recycling and production equipment.
- Resolving technical faults and minimizing production downtime.
- Optimizing equipment and processes to increase efficiency.
- Contribute to improving work processes and implementing technical solutions.
- Work in a dynamic team and report to the Maintenance Manager.
- Working in a safe environment; flexibility and a proactive attitude are essential.

Description of the organisation
CIRCTEC converts worn-out car tires into carbon black and biofuels in an energy-neutral manner. The plant recently opened and initially consists of six new reactors, with an expansion in phase 2 to an additional 22 reactors. Approximately 60 employees will be employed upon opening; the workforce will be scaled up to approximately 120 employees around 2028. The project involves a new, large-scale chemical plant with a substantial investment value.
