Job requirements
- VMBO diploma (theoretical, mixed, or vocational) or specialization in electrical engineering, and willingness to follow a practice-oriented MBO-3 program.
- Experience with electrical engineering through education and/or work is an advantage.
- Proficiency with computers.
- In possession of driving license B.
- Residing in the Groningen region, preferably around Leek.
- Good command of the Dutch language, at least at B2 level.
- Please note: in the presence of a pacemaker, there is a safety risk due to equipment that generates electromagnetic fields.
Tasks
- Often start from home and work at various locations in the region.
- Troubleshooting and performing maintenance work on installations.
- Replacing distribution boxes and converting complete distribution stations.
- Inspecting stations and recording transformer loads.
- Performing on-call duties and working in alternating shift schedules.
- Shadowing an experienced mechanic during practical days and attending two half-days of theory and practice at school.
- Writing reports for school and participating in exams and safety training.
- Ensuring that the company van receives maintenance on time and that the MOT is scheduled.
Working conditions
