Installation technician Home renovation
Installs and renovates kitchens, bathrooms, and toilets for a large renovation project on Terschelling. Requires a level 3 vocational education (MBO) diploma, a VCA certificate, and a category B driver's license. Hotel accommodations and meals during work periods are arranged by the employer.
Description
Working on a large renovation project on Terschelling, where a housing association's homes are being modernized in collaboration with a construction contractor. The position offers a wide range of applications within the installation technology sector and focuses primarily on mechanical systems in existing homes.
Job requirements
- Completed technical vocational education level 3 or comparable.
- Experience in installation technology and the ability to work independently.
- In possession of a VCA certificate and driving license B.
- Good command of the Dutch language; you are customer-focused, proactive, and solution-oriented.
- Work neatly, communicate clearly and act reliably in situations with private clients.
- An affinity for electrical work and a willingness to learn; experience with electricity is not required.
- Willingness to stay on Terschelling from Monday to Thursday (hotel and meals are arranged by the employer).
- Flexible, positive attitude.
Tasks
- Installing, renovating and adapting bathrooms, kitchens and toilets.
- Carrying out mechanical installation work and, where necessary, minor electrical work such as relocating pipes.
- Solving technical problems and developing appropriate solutions for each situation.
- Communicating with residents, providing clear, customer-focused explanations, and delivering installations to ensure everything functions properly.
- Collaborate with the building contractor and other professionals on the project.
