Description
Permits advisor within the energy infrastructure sector, focused on large projects in the Northern and Central Netherlands.
You ensure that permit processes proceed legally correctly, on time, and in good coordination with the parties involved.
Job requirements
- HBO work and thinking level, preferably in the direction of urban planning, law or public administration.
- Experience with permits, coordination regulations and working in project environments.
- Knowledge of environmental law, public administration, and current legislation and regulations.
- Ability to provide insight into the interests of various parties and manage risks.
- Be able to independently initiate and complete permitting procedures.
- Strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
- Experience with system-oriented contract management (advantage).
- In possession of VCA-VOL or willing to obtain this.
- In possession of a driver's license and able to provide a Certificate of Conduct.
- Works in a structured manner, maintains an overview, and can switch between content, policy, and implementation.
Tasks
- Work on complex permitting procedures for major projects in the Northern and Central Netherlands.
- Develop permitting strategies and implement them in collaboration with the project team.
- Identify legal risks and actively work to mitigate them.
- Monitor the legal framework and act as a link between technology, legislation, and government authorities.
- Coordinate permit processes and align with competent authorities and the ministry.
- Guide procedures such as the project decision and the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA).
- Ensure the timely and correct submission of all required permits.
- Work regularly on location and maintain close collaboration with project teams, government agencies, and other stakeholders.
