Fulltime

Description

Don't see your perfect assignment here? Feel free to send us an open application! Let us know what you're looking for, and we'll see if we have any interesting projects lined up. Have a suggestion of your own? Great, we'd love to hear from you!

Do you want to make a difference in the world and work on real-life assignments in an international environmentThen choose an internship or graduation project at the Centre of Expertise Water Technology (CEW). The clients you'll work for at CEW are all key players in the (water technology) market. This way, you'll build a relevant network during your studies and increase your job prospects later!

CEW performs applied research in the field of water technology, together with companies and universities. In this way, CEW contributes to educational development, innovation acceleration and talent developmentAt CEW, you will join a motivated team of (permanent) employees and students. Together you will devise, research, and test innovative solutions for the increasing global issues surrounding climate, environment, water and food.

We are continuously looking enthusiastic vocational, higher professional and university students in a program related to water technology. For example, in higher professional education (HBO) chemical technology, biotechnology, or environmental science, or in vocational education (MBO) chemical-physical analyst or biological-medical analyst. Other programs are also possible upon consultation! Besides process technologists, the water sector also needs communication experts, business administrators, mechanical engineers, IT specialists, and many other disciplines.

What are you going to do?

What you will do will of course depend largely on the project you are working on.

In one project, you'll help greenhouse growers remove crop protection products from residual water, while in another, you'll test the purification capacity of a swamp roof or investigate the savings that can be achieved with a rainwater harvesting system. CEW is a dynamic company with ongoing new projects, but they all have one thing in common: they are all real and come straight from practice.

Depending on your interests, experience, education and other background, we will try to place you on the most suitable project. You will be professionally guided by experts from the water world.

Your work environment:
Our office is located at the WaterCampus, Oostergoweg 9 in Leeuwarden. Here, you'll intern with a team of permanent employees and a constantly changing group (15 to 25) of students. Depending on your project, you'll also regularly be at the Water Application Center (WAC). We conduct extensive research at the WAC, but also in the field, on client sites.

Are you excited? Then send an email to studenten@cew.nl with the subject line Open application internship CEW and tell us why you want to do an internship or graduate at CEW.
