Description
This position is part of the Engineering Academy and focuses on developing engineers for the electricity grid. As an engineer, you will be responsible for engineering expansions and replacements within the grid, and you will collaborate with the academy and colleagues on your professional development.
Job requirements
- Demonstrable higher professional education (HBO) work and thinking level and at least a level 4 MBO diploma in a technical field (e.g. electrical engineering, energy technology or mechatronics), supplemented with several years of relevant practical experience.
- Attention to detail and a safe working method.
- A real team player who is in control and keeps stakeholders informed.
Tasks
- Responsible for the engineering of extensions and replacements in the electricity grid.
- Drawing up uniform working drawings and applying design frameworks for low and medium voltage and public lighting.
- Work with a senior engineer and, under supervision, take on and implement small projects.
- Discuss and evaluate project progress and results with the supervisor on a daily or weekly basis, with the aim of delivering increasingly independent and high-quality work.
Working conditions
- Intensive training program within the Engineering Academy: an average of two days a week for three months at the training center in Hoogeveen.
- Training topics include grid fundamentals, material usage, design frameworks for low and medium voltage and public lighting, system training, and the Flux process, which describes engineering, preparation, execution, and completion.
- In addition to physical training, there are safety-related e-learning and additional training courses relevant for engineers.
- After the training period, you'll be given a lot of responsibility and opportunities to practice; the program is a work-study program that prepares you to work independently as an engineer.
- Employment conditions include a personal budget of 10%, a 13th month of 10,7% of the gross annual salary, 24,5 vacation days for full-time employment, and the option to purchase additional vacation days with the personal budget and the 13th month.
- Contribution to the ABP Choice Pension; Enexis contributes 70%.
