You perform metalwork and repairs on ships, focusing on practical solutions to get ships back into operation quickly and efficiently.

Job requirements

  • Experience as a metalworker, preferably in shipbuilding.
  • Creative and solution-oriented thinking regarding technical problems.
  • Working accurately, with attention to millimeter accuracy.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.

Tasks

  • Repairing ships and constructing various structures on board.
  • Welding, cutting, and working with hand and power tools.
  • Working in the dock, at the shipyard, and in ports on a wide variety of ships.
  • Executing both routine maintenance and large and complex projects.

Description of the organisation

We are a full-service dry dock with both a dock and a slipway, active in renovation, complex repairs, and complete transformations of ships.

We handle a wide variety of vessels and undertake both routine maintenance and major projects. For complex projects, we sometimes build entirely new sections, place them in floating docks, and reposition ship parts, involving extensive metalwork and coordination.
