Senior Project Manager leads complex, multidisciplinary projects in an international, project-based environment.
Responsible for planning, budget, contract management, risk management and delivery within prescribed objectives.
Requirement: HBO technical education, 7–10 years of experience and IPMA B or equivalent certification.

Senior Project Manager who leads complex, multidisciplinary projects in an international, project-based environment and is responsible for realizing projects within predefined technical, organizational, qualitative and financial objectives.
Job requirements
- At least a higher vocational education (HBO) degree in a technical field, with a university work and thinking level.
- IPMA B certificate or comparable certification such as Prince2 (preferred).
- Seven to ten years of relevant experience with complex projects, preferably several years in turnkey contracts.
- Fluent Dutch (advantage) and English, both spoken and written; knowledge of German and/or French is an advantage.
- Strong project management methodology and a practical, proactive attitude.
- Team-oriented, drawing energy from collaboration and able to lead a team.
Tasks
- Leading and managing projects and project contracts, including identifying commercial, technical, and operational opportunities and risks.
- Maintain customer contact and manage contract scope and variation orders.
- Managing all activities internally and with third parties, with attention to planning, budget and quality.
- Implement proactive risk management and adjust projects to prevent quality problems and exceedances.
- Evaluate projects after delivery and record lessons learned for future improvements.
- Periodically report to management on project status through the Project Review Process.
- Contribute to the preparation of fixed quotations regarding scope, planning and risk analyses.
- Implementing structured project management methodologies and continuously improving project approaches.
