Description
As a maintenance engineer, you are responsible for carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical installations in the waste-to-energy plant.
Job requirements
- Completed technical training at MBO-3 or MBO-4 level, in mechanical engineering or all-round mechanic.
- To speak Dutch fluently.
- A loyal CV.
Tasks
- Preventive and corrective maintenance of installations.
- Inspect and maintain mechanical parts such as pumps, valves and conveyors.
- Ensuring the quality of mechanical installations without hindering production.
- Monitoring and follow-up of the preventive maintenance plan in the SAP system.

You'll be working at a sustainable waste-to-energy plant in Wijster that separates waste and recycles it into valuable raw materials. Waste also generates energy, such as electricity, steam, and green gas. Activities include anaerobic digestion, composting, regranulate production, and water purification. These processes operate on a wide variety of installations.
