Description
As a Smart Energy Optimization Specialist, you'll be responsible for implementing and further developing smart solutions that provide insight into and reduce energy consumption. You'll ensure that data, systems, and processes are designed to structurally improve the efficiency of buildings, and you'll guide organisations from initial implementation to continuous optimization. You'll analyze performance, identify waste, and translate insights into concrete improvements that actually save energy.
Job requirements
- Completed higher professional or university education, for example in a technical, energy, business administration or facilities management field.
- Affinity with energy issues, data and smart technology.
- Ability to analyze performance and translate it into concrete energy-saving measures.
- Independent, proactive way of working.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to convey complex information in an understandable way.
- Curiosity and a solution-oriented mindset.
Tasks
- Supporting energy-saving solutions projects from start to launch and ensuring that smart systems are configured correctly.
- Analyzing data from buildings and installations, recognizing deviations and identifying opportunities for structural energy savings.
- Coordinating the deployment of hardware and data links with external parties and ensuring the quality of supplied data.
- Support the deployment and refinement of data-driven and automated solutions that continuously improve energy consumption.
- Identifying opportunities for improvement, from comfort complaints to inefficient processes, and translating these into concrete actions for lower energy costs.
- Actively participate in developing new applications and optimizations and translating these into practical solutions.
- Monitoring performance, progress and agreements made and making adjustments where necessary.
