Description
As a Data Environmental Engineer, you will contribute to the design of the underground pipeline system and contribute to the energy transition.
You play an important role in the reporting process and the functional management of environmentally related calculation models and ICT systems.
Job requirements
- Completed higher professional or university education in engineering, computing science, IT or a similar field.
- Approximately 2 years of relevant experience with data analysis; preferably experience with Microsoft Azure and PowerBI.
- Experience with data analysis tools such as Python, Matlab or R.
- Knowledge of SAP.
- Personal qualities: technical specialist deployable in multidisciplinary projects, approachable and solution-oriented.
- Analytical, results- and customer-oriented with a high level of safety awareness.
- Convincing and accurate, with an eye for detail and the ability to work according to procedures.
- Driven and eager to learn, and able to quickly make connections.
Tasks
- Contribute to the design of the underground pipeline system and associated environmental issues.
- Be responsible within the reporting process and become a knowledge holder for environmentally related reporting.
- Functional management of calculation models and associated ICT systems.
- Improving the quality of incoming data and applying engineering knowledge in systems.
- Developing and improving dashboards that display reporting figures.
- Studying history, technical design of assets, policy documents, and relevant legislation to monitor and adjust processes and calculations.
- Interpreting ICT knowledge between the IT department and the Engineering department.
- Maintaining and optimising the broad environmental reporting process.
- Mapping and analyzing emission sources and working on reducing emissions, leaks, and losses in the network.
- Advising on identifying improvement potential for the transport of hydrogen, natural gas, CO2, heat and N2.
