Engineer Marine & Offshore
Description
You will perform design and engineering work for electrical installations, based on a functional approach. You will report to the project leader or project manager. This position is located within a business unit that provides maritime and offshore solutions.
Job requirements
- HBO education (bachelor) in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- At least five years of work experience in a similar position or engineering role.
- Good technical, communication and organisational skills.
- Proactive attitude and good analytical skills.
- Knowledge of project management methods is an advantage.
- Experience with AutoCAD and EPLAN; knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel and Access).
- Affinity with programming in Excel and Access (VBA / VB.net).
- Good command of the Dutch and English language, both oral and written.

Description of the organisation
The Marine & Offshore business unit provides electrical services and systems for maritime and offshore applications worldwide. Complete systems are custom-designed and manufactured for installation at Dutch shipyards and shipped as ready-to-install kits to shipyards in Romania, Vietnam, India, China, and other countries.
The electrical services provided include consultancy, system engineering and design, delivery of customer-specific and/or standard systems, panel building, installation, commissioning, and service and maintenance.
