Description

As a Software Engineer at the Systems unit in Kolham, you'll be responsible for the design and standardization of software modules within the Configure-to-Order (CTO) product philosophy. You'll develop modular and scalable software solutions that connect to electrical modules, working closely with the Product Manager, production, and other disciplines within the development team.

Job requirements

  • Completed higher professional education or demonstrably equivalent level.
  • At least five years of experience in software design, product development and/or CTO environments.
  • Knowledge of and experience with C#, .NET Core, CodeSys and industrial networks.
  • Experience with Plastic SCM and other version control methodologies.
  • Affinity with technical products and industrial design.
  • Good communication skills and team-oriented work.
  • Proactive work attitude and good analytical skills.
  • Good command of Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
  • Experience in the maritime sector is an advantage.

Tasks

  • Designing and standardizing software modules within the CTO process.
  • Developing modular and scalable software solutions tailored to electrical modules.
  • Optimizing and ensuring software standards within the CTO stream.
  • Developing standardized modular solutions that simplify configuration and offer flexibility to customers.
  • Coordinating technical feasibility and efficient production with the Product Manager, production and other disciplines.
  • Provide occasional support at the production site to discuss designs and supervise implementations.
