Description

You will be involved in the development of control and application software for biogas, biomethane, and LCO₂ installations, from technical design to delivery. You will work within project teams, primarily in the office and occasionally on-site, and contribute to the development of a future-proof software architecture. Location: Joure.

Job requirements

  • MBO or HBO education in Industrial Automation, Control Engineering, Measurement & Control Technology or similar
  • Demonstrable experience as a PLC Software Engineer or PLC programmer
  • Knowledge of Siemens PLCs, system architectures and FAT/SAT processes
  • Experience with control and safeguarding narratives
  • Good command of Dutch and English
  • Knowledge of electrical engineering is a plus

Tasks

  • Developing, testing and optimizing PLC software for Siemens systems
  • Thinking about software architecture, standardization and new functionalities
  • Preparing and performing FAT and SAT tests for installations
  • Supporting the commissioning of installations, also internationally
  • Analyze and resolve technical deviations in operational systems
  • Collaborate with engineers, project managers and other disciplines
  • Ensuring that projects are delivered safely, reliably and within schedule and budget
