Software Engineer
You will develop control and application software for sustainable energy systems. Key responsibilities: PLC software development, FAT/SAT testing, and commissioning support. Requirements: MBO/HBO degree in automation and experience with Siemens PLCs; work both in the office and on-site.
Description
You will be involved in the development of control and application software for biogas, biomethane, and LCO₂ installations, from technical design to delivery. You will work within project teams, primarily in the office and occasionally on-site, and contribute to the development of a future-proof software architecture. Location: Joure.
Job requirements
- MBO or HBO education in Industrial Automation, Control Engineering, Measurement & Control Technology or similar
- Demonstrable experience as a PLC Software Engineer or PLC programmer
- Knowledge of Siemens PLCs, system architectures and FAT/SAT processes
- Experience with control and safeguarding narratives
- Good command of Dutch and English
- Knowledge of electrical engineering is a plus
Tasks
- Developing, testing and optimizing PLC software for Siemens systems
- Thinking about software architecture, standardization and new functionalities
- Preparing and performing FAT and SAT tests for installations
- Supporting the commissioning of installations, also internationally
- Analyze and resolve technical deviations in operational systems
- Collaborate with engineers, project managers and other disciplines
- Ensuring that projects are delivered safely, reliably and within schedule and budget
