Inspector Scope 8

Mensonides is seeking a Scope 8, Scope 10, and NEN 3140 Inspector to inspect and approve electrical installations in new construction, maintenance projects, and existing commercial buildings. The position offers responsibility and technical expertise, with considerable freedom to design the work in your own way; the work will be largely performed independently. Hours: 32-40 hours. Work area: primarily Friesland, with deployments in the Northern Netherlands.

• Minimum MBO level 4 or HBO education in electrical engineering, construction and/or mechanical engineering.
• SCIOS Scope 8 or 10 diploma, or willingness to obtain this.
• Experience as an electrician or as an inspector of low-voltage installations.
• Knowledge of the NEN 1010 and NEN 3140 standards.
• In possession of driving license B.
• Ability to work independently, be proactive and good at dealing with customers.
• Competencies: flexible, customer-oriented, reliable and positive.

• Inspection of new and existing electrical installations.
• Assessment of installations based on SCIOS Scope 8 and Scope 10.
• Carrying out NEN 3140 inspections.
• Carry out delivery inspections in accordance with NEN 1010.
• Prepare a clear report after each inspection and advise the customer on the condition and safety of the installation.
• Carrying out inspections at various clients, such as agricultural companies and new construction projects.
• Carrying out inspection work largely independently.
• Providing support in installing mechanical systems in utility projects or for private clients (students usually work in combination with a vocational training program).
• Providing support in installing electrical systems in utility projects or for private clients (students usually work in combination with a vocational training program).
• Troubleshooting and maintenance for business customers in the region (central heating boilers, heat pumps, air conditioners, ventilation systems).
