Description
As a Mechanical Project Technician, you install mechanical systems in the new construction, conversion, and renovation of large utility projects, such as industrial halls, offices, healthcare buildings, and educational buildings.
Job requirements
- Minimum completed MBO education, level 3.
- Several years of relevant work experience is preferred; recent graduates and apprentice/BBL candidates may also apply.
- In possession of driving license B.
- Good command of the Dutch language.
- Can work independently and proactively; customer-oriented, flexible, reliable, and positive attitude.
Tasks
- Installation and assembly of complete mechanical installations (heating, cooling, ventilation, water and sanitary), including piping, fittings and technical facilities.
- Carrying out work on new construction, renovation and large-scale conversions of commercial buildings.
- Collaborate with fellow installers, subcontractors, and project management to deliver installations safely and on schedule.
- Ensure that the work is carried out neatly and professionally.
- Working on both large multi-day projects and project phases with varying tasks.
- Assist in resolving malfunctions and performing maintenance where requested.

Description of the organization
Mensonides Installatie is a nearly 50-year-old all-round installation company based in Harlingen, active in installation technology, electrical engineering, and sustainable technology. The company serves both private and business clients in the Northern Netherlands and operates from branches in Harlingen and Drachten. Projects range from the installation and maintenance of heat pumps, central heating boilers, and solar panels to complete installations for new construction projects and the maintenance of large-scale solar parks.
