Kickstart your technical career in the international oil and gas industry. You'll work with large equipment, learn from experienced colleagues, and travel to domestic and international locations. No two days are the same; your work is varied and takes place both outdoors and in the workshop.
Job requirements
- Technical education (e.g. mechanical engineering, AOT or automotive technology) or demonstrable technical skills.
- Flexibility and perseverance.
- Willingness to travel and work on location, sometimes involving hotel stays or flights.
- Curiosity and motivation to develop yourself through courses and training.
Tasks
- Prepares hydraulic workover units technically before they go to locations.
- Carries out repairs and maintenance work on hydraulics, diesel engines, pumps and structures.
- Installs and operates materials and systems on site.
- Works both in the workshop and at onshore and offshore locations.
- Supports experienced colleagues in various tasks.
- Operates forklifts and other internal transport equipment.
- Keep workshops and locations tidy and safe.
- Performs basic maintenance and cleaning work.
- Sometimes works at heights.
- Actively thinks about improvements.
