Description
You work for various clients in a dynamic environment, monitoring project progress, exploring industry opportunities, and navigating the Environment and Planning Act. You work on projects and contribute to achieving HSE goals for clients, in close collaboration with a team and specialists.
Job requirements
- Completed higher professional or university education in environment, chemistry, process technology, environmental law, or demonstrable equivalent experience.
- At least ten years of relevant and demonstrable work experience.
- Affinity and experience with management of planning, finance and coordination.
- Knowledge of and experience with environmental legislation and regulations (e.g. Environmental Management Act, Wabo, Bor, Activities Decree).
- Experience within a consultancy firm and with the dynamics of multiple projects.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal; excellent command of Dutch and English.
- Commercial mindset and ability to convert inquiries into suitable quotations.
- Generalist approach with possible specialization (e.g., BAT, discharges, e-MJV, or legal).
- Enjoys helping colleagues and has an eye for detail.
Tasks
- Collecting, informing and sharing project information with colleagues and clients.
- Preparing calculations and quotations for customers.
- Financial management and project planning.
- Coordination between different fields and disciplines.
- Coordinating with customers on quotation requests, projects and orders.
- Contact with customers and government agencies; relationship management and account management.
- Drafting permit applications.
- Researching laws and regulations.
- Supporting companies with supervision and enforcement.
- Guidance for juniors.

Description of the organization
The Permits Team unburdens clients in obtaining appropriate Environmental Permits. The foundation is the environment, with a focus on water, nitrogen, spatial planning, construction, demolition, felling, ecology, and waste materials. The team acts as a point of contact and central hub between the client, government, and specialists, and operates as environmental strategists and HSE consultants for the manufacturing industry.
The team consists of approximately 15 junior and senior colleagues and works closely with teams such as Safety, Air and Noise, Site (re)development, Wastewater Technology, Circular Economy, and Sustainability.
