Installation technician Home renovation
Description
Residential renovation installation technician for renovation projects in Friesland and Groningen, with a large project in the province of Groningen (Ulrum and Winsum) managed from Drachten. The role involves working in existing homes, including contact with residents, resolving technical issues, and ensuring that systems function properly. The work focuses primarily on mechanical installations; an affinity for small electrical work is an advantage but not required.
Job requirements
- Completed technical vocational training, level 3 or equivalent.
- Experience in installation technology.
- In possession of a VCA certificate.
- Driving License B.
- Good command of the Dutch language.
- Visible proactive, customer-focused and solution-oriented attitude.
- Ability to work independently, be neat, communicate clearly and be customer-friendly.
- Flexible, reliable and positive.
Tasks
- Installing pipework around kitchens, bathrooms and toilets.
- Renovation and adaptation of bathrooms, kitchens and toilets.
- Implementing and connecting central heating systems.
- Resolving technical challenges and malfunctions, tailored to every situation.
- Provide clear and customer-oriented explanations about the operation of installations.
- Delivering installations so that everything works perfectly and the customer is satisfied.
- Supporting the installation of mechanical and electrical systems in utility or private projects.
- Carrying out maintenance and troubleshooting for business customers (e.g. central heating boilers, larger heating systems, heat pumps, air conditioning and ventilation systems).
