Working in a modern recycling and production environment at the Chemie Park in Delfzijl, during the scaling up of the factory.
Job requirements
- Completed technical training at VAPRO B-level.
- Preferably at least three years of experience in a chemical production environment.
- Familiarity with process automation.
- Experience working in a five-shift system.
- Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work well in a team.
- Safety awareness and attention to detail.
- Motivation for continuous training and further development of knowledge.
Tasks
- Operate and monitor various production lines both in the field and from the control room.
- Ensure that the process runs according to established process conditions and product specifications.
- Operating and checking installations and carrying out quality controls.
- Intervene in the event of deviations or malfunctions and resolve operational problems.
- Flexible rotation between different tasks and support where necessary during scaling up.
- Assist with the onboarding and coaching of new colleagues and actively share knowledge within the team.

Description of the organisation
The first six brand new reactors will convert worn car tires into carbon black and biofuels in an energy-neutral way.
After the opening in early 2026, phase 2 of the expansion has started, with an additional 22 reactors.
The plant is a brand new chemical facility with an investment of approximately €285 million and will scale up from approximately 60 employees at opening to an expected 120 employees around 2028.
The location is at Chemie Park in Delfzijl; it opened in early 2026.
