Description
As a shovel operator at the location in Friesland (Harlingen), you are responsible for loading and unloading goods and raw materials. You handle internal transport, perform daily checks and simple maintenance, and ensure a clean and safe working environment.
Job requirements
- Passionate craftsman/craftswoman with stress resistance and flexibility.
- MBO training in the direction of machinist, mechanical engineering or similar.
- Valid VCA certificate, or willingness to obtain one.
Tasks
- Loading and unloading of goods and raw materials for production.
- Internal transport of goods and raw materials across the site.
- Performing daily checks and simple maintenance on the shovel.
- Timely detection of defects in the shovel.
- Ensure a neat, tidy and safe working environment.

Description of the organization

The operational plant in Westdorpe (Zeeland) is one of the larger producers of green gas in Europe. The modern installations are designed for reproducibility and scalability, which contributes to shaping sustainable biogas plants.
Continuity plays an important role; thanks to redundant versions, production can continue even in the event of malfunctions. New facilities are currently being built in Farmsum and Harlingen, with expected commissioning in the third quarter of 2025.
