Description
As a 1st electrical service technician, you'll work independently at challenging utility locations, ensuring clients can rely on their electrical installations 24/7.
Job requirements
- Minimum MBO-3 diploma in electrical engineering with additional vocational training.
- Demonstrable experience in managing a wide range of electrical installations, including security and fire safety systems and low-voltage and high-voltage power supplies within utility buildings.
- VCA-VOL certification.
- Driving License B.
- Technical and spatial insight, analytical skills and good communication skills.
- Willingness to attend courses and training and obtain certificates when necessary.
Tasks
- Ensuring that clients can rely on electrical installations 24/7.
- Carrying out preventive maintenance on electrical installations.
- Troubleshooting lighting and power systems, emergency lighting, fire alarm systems, and intrusion and access control systems, based on digital work orders on a tablet.
- Troubleshoot and independently resolve malfunctions; collaborate with colleagues or specialist suppliers if necessary.
- Report faults and inform the customer about the solution.
- Manage fellow service technicians and subcontractors.
- Ordering necessary materials.
- Perform on-call duties once every eight weeks, with the option to swap individual days with colleagues.
- Working with a permanent team for longer periods at one or more locations.
- Providing innovative improvement opportunities with a focus on sustainability.
Working conditions
- A permanent contract straight away.
- Compensation and an additional allowance of c150 gross per month for participating in the consignment service.
- Per consignment service of one full week c219 gross.
- A telephone, laptop/tablet and a fully equipped bus.
