Tasks
- Collecting and sorting second-hand building materials.
- Editing materials (sawing, denailing, cleaning, etc.).
- Setting up the shop and preparing materials for sale.
- Assisting with the sales of materials.
Working conditions
Workplace type: Work Experience Placement (WEP). Start date: Immediately. Temporary contract, for 6 months.
Description of the organisation
A Circular Building Materials Hub is being established at Energieweg 17 in Groningen, where reused building materials will be given a second life. At this hub, materials will be collected, sorted, and sold to prevent waste and enable affordable, sustainable construction. The initiative contributes to a circular economy and a greener future.
