Service Technician Business Market
Description
You are responsible for troubleshooting and performing periodic maintenance for business clients in the province of Friesland. The work primarily involves heating, cooling, and ventilation systems and is usually carried out according to a structured periodic schedule, with occasional ad-hoc assignments.
Job requirements
- Minimum completed MBO education at level 3.
- Relevant work experience in commercial service and maintenance work on central heating boilers, heat pumps, air conditioners, and ventilation systems; several years of experience preferred.
- Training as a Service Technician or Technician for Service and Maintenance of Mechanical Installations is an advantage.
- SCIOS Scope 1 and/or STEK certification is an advantage but not a requirement.
- Experience with cascade setups is an advantage.
- In possession of driving license B.
- Good command of the Dutch language.
- Ability to work independently, proactively, and customer-oriented; competencies: flexible, reliable, and positive attitude.
Tasks
- Troubleshooting and performing periodic maintenance for business clients, such as manufacturing companies, shops, metalworking companies, the hospitality industry, and service providers.
- Service and maintenance of utility installations focused on heating, cooling, and ventilation.
- Independently diagnose and repair central heating boilers, heat pumps, ventilation systems, and air conditioning systems.
- Checking the condition and operation of installations.
- Performing work according to a structured periodic schedule and occasional ad-hoc interventions.

The company has been an all-round installation company from Harlingen for nearly 50 years and offers total solutions in the fields of installation technology, electrical engineering, and sustainable technology.
They serve both private and business clients in the north of the Netherlands. The company is growing steadily and maintains a family feel; it now employs around ninety people.
Every day, technicians work on various projects, supported by work planners, drafters, engineers, schedulers, advisors, and project managers. Projects range from the installation and maintenance of heat pumps, central heating boilers, and solar panels for private residents to complete installations in new construction projects and the maintenance of large solar parks.
