Hydraulic Engineer
Description
Hydraulic Engineer within our multidisciplinary engineering team, responsible for designing and developing hydraulic systems for high-tech offshore and maritime equipment.
Job requirements
- HBO diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics with a specialisation in hydraulics.
- Preferably several years of relevant experience in mechanical engineering and hydraulic drives.
- Experience with AutoCAD, Inventor and Hydroman.
- Knowledge of measurement and control technology and electrical systems.
- Knowledge of proportional and servo technology.
- Experience with FME(C)As and risk analyses.
- Experience in setting up and developing hydraulic systems and performing the necessary calculations.
- Experience with systems that operate in a dynamic environment.
- Good command of the English language, both spoken and written.
Tasks
- Contribute to the design of high-tech systems.
- Developing specifications in detailed designs (calculations, diagrams and parts lists).
- Design of manifold blocks and 3D development of piping/routes.
- Supporting fitters and commissioning engineers in the construction and commissioning of the systems you have designed.
- Maintaining contact with international customers, suppliers and the internal organisation.
- Suggest improvements based on component selection and functionality.
