Description

Hydraulic Engineer within our multidisciplinary engineering team, responsible for designing and developing hydraulic systems for high-tech offshore and maritime equipment.

Job requirements

  • HBO diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics with a specialisation in hydraulics.
  • Preferably several years of relevant experience in mechanical engineering and hydraulic drives.
  • Experience with AutoCAD, Inventor and Hydroman.
  • Knowledge of measurement and control technology and electrical systems.
  • Knowledge of proportional and servo technology.
  • Experience with FME(C)As and risk analyses.
  • Experience in setting up and developing hydraulic systems and performing the necessary calculations.
  • Experience with systems that operate in a dynamic environment.
  • Good command of the English language, both spoken and written.

Tasks

  • Contribute to the design of high-tech systems.
  • Developing specifications in detailed designs (calculations, diagrams and parts lists).
  • Design of manifold blocks and 3D development of piping/routes.
  • Supporting fitters and commissioning engineers in the construction and commissioning of the systems you have designed.
  • Maintaining contact with international customers, suppliers and the internal organisation.
  • Suggest improvements based on component selection and functionality.
