Description
As a civil engineering contractor, you coordinate the daily work on the construction site, ensure that people, equipment, and planning are aligned, and monitor quality, safety, and collaboration.
You will be responsible for the daily on-site management of one or more ground, road, and water projects in the Gelderland, Overijssel, and Drenthe regions.
We are looking for someone with some experience who takes responsibility and ensures that the work outside runs smoothly.
Job requirements
- HBO education, preferably civil engineering.
- At least 3 years of experience in the role of civil engineering executor.
- Feel at home in complex and hectic environments and be able to switch quickly.
- Natural leadership combined with practical expertise.
- Passion for technology and good communication skills for problem solving on the construction site.
- Coaching leadership style with substantive guidance of the team.
- Good feeling to achieve a quality result with different parties.
Tasks
- Daily on-site management of one or more civil engineering projects.
- Managing a project team, depending on project size.
- Work closely with the project team.
- Managing budgets and planning and realizing projects within budget.
- First point of contact for the team on the construction site.
- Ensuring optimal deployment of people and equipment.
- Translating drawings and contract requirements into concrete actions.
- Check progress and adjust when necessary.
- Stimulating a pleasant working atmosphere and getting the best out of employees.
