Description

As a QC inspector, you're responsible for monitoring quality and conducting inspections during all project phases. In this role, you'll serve as the contact person for clients regarding quality matters and a resource for internal resources. You'll contribute to ensuring product and process quality.

Job requirements

  • MBO-plus or HBO work and thinking level, preferably in the direction of mechanical engineering.
  • IWT training and demonstrable work experience as a QC inspector.
  • Knowledge of materials, manufacturing techniques, welding techniques, heat treatment, NDT techniques and inspection methods.
  • Knowledge of welding procedures (WPS, WPQR, WQ) and relevant standards (EN, ANSI, ASME).
  • Knowledge of legal regulations (such as PED, NEN EN 1090), design standards and quality systems.
  • Good command of Dutch and English.
  • Flexibility regarding deployability within the entire regional company.

Tasks

  • Coordinating the quality plan, inspection plans and project procedures.
  • Function as part of the project team and provide solicited or unsolicited advice on quality during implementation or turnaround.
  • Conducting inspections, assessing quality reports, and reporting findings within the framework of the quality policy.
  • Acting as a point of contact for internal and external customers and for inspection services.
  • Maintain contacts with subcontractors in the field of construction, coating, insulation, heat treatment (PWHT), NDT and similar disciplines.
  • Implement and monitor procedures and guidelines to influence quality-related end results of assignments.
